I expect the PSA 10 Mega Charizard X ex to keep trending down over the next three months. Compared to today's $2,000 price, my best estimate is a drop to around $1,800, with a wider three-month uncertainty range between $1,600 and $2,000. Looking further out, my longer-range one-year estimate sits at $1,600, though that carries more uncertainty. The decisive factor here is the massive incoming supply. PSA recorded almost 4,900 new grades for this exact card in the last 30 days alone. Because about 60 percent of those earn a gem-mint grade, thousands of new PSA 10s are hitting the market at once. This flood of supply gives buyers plenty of options and forces sellers to compete on price. If you want this card, my move is to hold off on buying a PSA 10 right now. Let the new-release tax wear off and wait for the price to find a solid floor before adding it to your collection.
Why the Oracle sees it this way
